REC Insurance was formed from a desire to fill a gap in service available to consumers in North Carolina and South Carolina who own Recreational Vehicles. Too many times, when consumers make an RV purchase, their agent scrambles to find a true RV policy through a broker or tries to make an RV “fit” onto an existing automobile policy. Often, the agent is either not very familiar with the RV lifestyle, or they just haven’t had the experience of providing the coverage on more than just a few occasions. Either way, we all know your RV is not a car and it may require coverage that isn’t available on a standard automobile policy.
